OLamiji Amuni, FCA is a dynamic senior finance professional whose career spans aviation, public service, and banking. With a proven track record in financial analysis, corporate reporting, audit coordination, and operational finance, she has consistently delivered results that drive efficiency, transparency, and growth.
Currently serving as the Social and Publicity Secretary of the ICAN Aviation Chapter, Ms. Amuni plays a pivotal role in elevating the chapter’s visibility, strengthening its communication strategy, and fostering meaningful engagement within the professional community.
At Aero Contractors Limited, she holds dual responsibilities as Senior Financial Analyst and Head of the Payables Unit in the Finance Department. In this capacity, she leads critical functions such as revenue and cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting, profitability assessments, variance analysis, and regulatory compliance. She also spearheads payables operations, optimizes cash flow management, nurtures vendor relationships, and champions process improvements through technology and robust internal controls.
Her expertise extends to coordinating internal and external audits, preparing statutory financial statements, and developing performance metrics that empower management with actionable insights. From investment evaluations to break-even analyses, her contributions have been instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and strengthening financial governance in the complex aviation sector.
Before her aviation career, Ms. Amuni distinguished herself in the Lagos State Government’s Local Government Service Commission, where she managed financial reporting to legislators, enforced control procedures, and ensured compliance through audit liaison. Her earlier banking experience at Sterling Bank Plc and SUSU Microfinance Bank sharpened her skills in audit control, relationship management, portfolio oversight, loan supervision, and financial advisory services.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Ms. Amuni also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Analysis from Purdue University, specializing in financial modelling, data analytics, and business intelligence. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (Second Class Upper) from Lagos State University.
