The ICAN Aviation Chapter brings together Chartered Accountants working across Nigeria’s aviation industry. Our goal is to foster professional development, regulatory compliance, and strategic collaboration among aviation finance experts.

Strategic Pillars (2025–2028)
Pillar 1: Professional Development
- Organize quarterly aviation-focused CPD trainings and workshops.
- Introduce an Aviation Finance Masterclass certified by ICAN.
Pillar 2: Policy & Regulatory Engagement
- Establish technical committees to advise on financial regulations in aviation.
- Engage NCAA, FAAN, NAMA, NSIB, NiMET and NCAT in policy discussions.
Pillar 3: Technology & Innovation
- Promote adoption of Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Intelligence and audit tools across aviation finance units.
- Host annual Aviation Finance Innovation Forum.
Pillar 4: Stakeholder Collaboration
- Create MoUs with professional bodies like NIAT, ARCON, WAI.
- Engage airlines, ground handlers, and MROs in Chapter activities.
Pillar 5: Visibility & Thought Leadership
- Publish quarterly newsletters and annual aviation finance white papers.
- Maintain a dynamic digital presence (website, social media).
Implementation Timeline
2nd Quarter of 2025
- Chapter inauguration, leadership installation, media rollout.
- Publish first newsletter and commence member induction process.
3rd Quarter of 2025
- Launch training programs and initiate stakeholder engagement.
4th Quarter of 2025
- Host first technical roundtable and policy dialogue.
1st Quarter of 2026
- Host the inaugural Aviation Finance Innovation Forum.
Monitoring & Evaluation
A Strategic Implementation Committee shall be established to track KPIs across all pillars, review quarterly progress reports, and advise the Chapter Executive Committee on strategic alignment.
